Our Process

OUR PROCESS

Step 1. Reaching Out

When you want to experience The Dirty Deed’s Difference, where we will greet you with our M.O.O.S.E. Mentality (Making Outcomes Of Services Exceptional) reach out to us using our contact form here on the website, through social media, or via email at LLC.dirtydeeds@gmail.com or phone call or text at 309-269-7146.

Step 2. Estimate over the phone or email

Wait what? How does this work? By providing your address, many things lawn care related, such as mowing, can be priced by us asking a couple of questions and viewing your property through our software. Other things such as mulch or other landscape installs will require pictures and if possible, some measurements from you to help us get you a price. We receive extremely large amounts of requests daily, by doing this we are able to help out more people quicker, more efficiently, and are able to save you the time and the headache of trying to schedule a time to go over your property in person. We are generally always booked out about 2 months. Need a small project done before next week? See our Alternate Step option at the bottom.

Step 3. Consultation

If you need us to come out and do a site visit for a consultation we can do so. Site visit’s do cost a nonrefundable $75 deposit. Upon approval of the estimate however, this $75 will be credited towards your services. If you are a current or past customer, there is no consultation fee.

Step 4. Approval

Once you have looked over our proposal and went over any question, concerns or changes to the proposal we would require you to sign our contract and put down 30% of the project costs upfront to secure a scheduled date for your work. During your wait for services to begin, we will maintain constant communication and updates with you as it gets closer to the starting date. We will also have the utilities marked by JULIE before work is to begin if we are doing any digging.

Step 5. Production

Yay! It’s time to fix those woes or upgrade your existing landscaping! You can expect us to show up on time, be courteous and to focus in on those details and keep the site clean while we get our hands dirty to help transform your yard. Depending on what services we provide you with we will leave you a detailed guides to help you navigate through your new landscaping, anything from new plants or sod care guide sheets detailing what you should be doing to your landscaping in the coming months.

Step 6. Post-Job Walkthrough

Once the project is completed, we will walk through your property with you to ensure complete satisfaction. This is the time to address any concerns you have with your project. We want you to be extremely excited and happy with the project that if anything seems out of place, no matter how small, please bring it to our attention so we can get it taken care of for you! Once you are completely satisfied, we require the remaining 70% of the project balance upon completion.

Step 7. Follow-up

Once we have completely finished and have long left your property, if we have not heard anything back from you, we will reach out to see how everything is holding up or if you have any further questions or concerns now that some time has passed.

Alternate Step. Need Services Now!

Oh no! you’ve been extremely busy and now you need your landscaping done for an event by next week what do you do? It may not be too late. We leave our weekends open just in case we have to make up days from bad weather or project setbacks. If you need expedited services, please reach out and let us know so we can verify if we will be able to help you. We will follow all of the same steps as listed above. The difference is there will be a 30% increase on our services.

Our Story

We at Dirty Deed’s would like to take a minute to say thank you for the opportunity to be your lawn care and landscaping provider. Because of people like you, part of the money received from every job goes towards the National Wildlife Federation. The money given towards this organization goes towards helping restore wildlife habitats and helping preserve our natural world.

With this being said, I wanted to address a question that has been asked to us for while now. Being a landscape company in the suburbs of Chicago I often hear “why the Moose” as part of our logo? Well it started out as an ode to my late father who passed away in June of 2012. Towards the later years of his life he had a liking to moose related things. Maybe it was him reminiscing of one of his childhood homes in Alaska, unfortunately I’m not too sure. I always looked up to him and wanted to be just like him, he would do anything and everything to provide for his family. But because of my late father the moose has come to represent strength, integrity, and honesty.

So In 2015 when the company started it was in honor of my hard working loving father. Then the best day of my life on October 9th 2017 my son Kane was born. I cherish every day I have with Kane or My Little Moose Man as I typically call him. Every day he brings a smile to my face, sure there are definitely easier days than others but I wouldn’t trade them for the world. But because of my son the moose has gained so much more meaning to me and my family.

Even though our new logo can look intimidating, everyday I put on my work shirt and see the moose or go out to the truck and there’s the moose it’s a constant reminder that no matter what to be kind, be honest, be understanding, be happy, to keep our word, to put a smile on someone else’s face and to do our best. Every day is a gift.

Thank you again for your support in helping us grow, helping us continue to be able to provide services in the Chicagoland area, and for helping us to help more people. We look forward to being able to continue providing work in the Chicagoland area.

A big thanks from my family and the Dirty Deed’s family,
Adam
